During the summer of 2017, a spectacular and previously relatively unknown Sport moves into the attention of the public for the first time. The European Championship in blind football – and you can be a part of it. In-order for this event to run smoothly, we are looking for motivated, enthusiastic and open minded helpers. A Short Description of tasks

Guest Services

  • Important contact for spectators.
  • Ensure safe and smooth operations for all guests.
  • Welcome guests in a friendly welcoming manner.



  • “Quiet please” signs to remind the audience that they should be quiet.
  • Guide and been spectators safe.



  • Coordination of ticket sales for the nine days of the event.
  • Occupying ticket collection terminals and day to day funds.
  • Ticket control.


VIP Support

  • Occupying of the VIP entrance.
  • Coordination of the VIP area.
  • Welcoming the prominent guests.
  • Serve the prominent guests with drinks and snacks.


  • A central point of contact for all questions concerning all aspects of the event, problems of enquires about tickets.


Wheelchair / Disabled access

  • Welcoming fans with disabilities.
  • Support for finding seats in the arena.
  • Coordinating audio description for those that require it.


  • Serves, flexibly, various tasks and aspects of the entire project.
  • Completion of additional tasks.
  • Re-enforcement of other volunteer areas.
  • Very varied work and can change day by day


  • Information point in the hotel/help with check in and check out
  • Support communication between the hotel, LOC and the teams.
  • Help with the logistical tasks (Parking spaces, training area use, routes, etc)
  • Contact for press representatives in the media room.

Shuttle service

  • Ensure a smooth transfer between airport / train stations, hotels, training and competition for athletes, coaches and officials.
  • Class B Driving License



  • Support for the creation and issue of personalised accreditations for all persons (Athletes, team supervisors, coaches, referees, journalists, photographers, volunteers, employees, etc.)
  • Work begins before the commencement of the tournament.

Media/ Press/ Technical support


  • Supporting and informing the journalists at the press station (including timely and prompt distribution of team assignments before the starts of the game)
  • Press room management (In cooperation with the Information point in the hotel.)
  • Support photographers.
  • Mixed zone management.



  • Documentation of all previously discussed and approved tournament events.
  • Perform additional roles in using additional cameras.

Social Media

  • Documentation of all previously discussed and approved tournament events.
  • Maintenance of website and social media networks (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram etc)
  • Cut and upload the games audio description as podcasts to the internet.


Volunteer Management

  • Support the organisers in the personnel deployment and planning of all volunteer departments.
  • Central contact point.
  • Briefing and training of different volunteer areas.
  • Volunteer centre: Catering and Clothing output

On Pitch Help

  • Important contact for teams, tournament presentation and officials.
  • Coordination of the processes at the edge of the playing field.
  • Support for event engineering and music delivery.

Team Liason

  • Accompany nation teams in their daily routine and assist in their day to day needs.
  • Available for the entirety of the tournament.

Ball Kids and Walk on Kids

  • Coordination of the ball and walk on children.
  • Provide seamless management of groups of children at the correct times according to tournament timings.
